"Rings" is an experience. The perimeter of the canvas is darkened, and its inner edges are blurred; giving the viewer a sense of looking through a lens at a picture in the distance. A focal point features "Rings" with Chris' characteristic use of contrasting white and black, superimposed on a central purple stage ("ring"). Look closely and one will notice small faint circles throughout the entire piece. Again effortlessly balancing details, simplicity, and depth.
