String Quartet
This was a fun painting to make. I don't often use brushes and I definitely didn't use them on this one. In fact, it's actually finger painted. All of the background I used my hands to blend the colors without getting carried away and turning them gray. I think that's why this is such a colorful painting. I had complete control down to the minute detail, and when you see this painting in person, it takes over the room. This is a great piece for a living room or a dining room. It's bright colors stand out and catch the eye. It's a conversation starter. The great thing about abstracts is people see what they want to see. In this painting I see instruments. On the right side, I see a cello, some people see a guitar. Other people see a whole band. It's filled with energy and the music's alive. Hence the name, String Quartet.
All my paintings are signed on the back, so you can hang them in any orientation you like. They also come with a varnish topcoat to protect them from harmful UV rays and pollutants.
